How to Host Events with Partners and Demonstrate Impact

Now that you’ve established some quality partnerships and relationships in Millennial and multicultural areas of your community, it’s time to host an event! There are several ways you can do this to maximize your impact, and it will greatly depend on who your partner(s) and/or organization partner is, but here is one idea to get you started:

Consider hosting a homebuyer seminar in partnership with a Realtor or other referral partner(s) representative of the community location you will be reaching out to with the event. Secondly, host this event at the church or community organization that you have developed a relationship with from within that community. You will want to offer this at the location of the organization (i.e. church or corporation) and at the time they think is best for their congregation/constituents. Ask the pastor or community leader to be the host of the event, open the event, and encourage their members to attend.

Take Action:

Download and complete the worksheet (below) outlining how to plan a partnered event. Schedule a time to meet with your partner(s) and brainstorm 3-5 topics to address what would benefit your mutual audience. Let us know what you come up with!
