Next Generation Marketing & Millennial Homebuyers

by Cultural Outreach Solutions

Millennials accounted for one-third of homebuyers last year and that number is projected to increase in 2016 (NAR). Baby Boomers are also known for their large purchasing power (over $3 trillion) (U.S. Census), but Generation X is often overlooked despite their relatively large spending power and market stability.

Misunderstandings based on stereotypes and cultural differences create barriers both to relationships, and business growth. It is critical that lenders understand specific marketing and customer service preferences for each generation in order to be effective in today's diverse market.

In this session, participants will learn:

• Millennial buying behavior and preferences

• Characteristics, lifestyles, and attitudes of each generation in the U.S.

• Marketing tips and strategies to target these groups and drive greater sales

• Best practices in customer service to win loyalty with the next generation

Lenders, Realtors, and employers of all types are always watching for trends that will give them the edge over their competitors and doing their best to learn about how to capitalize on the information through marketing. One such trend is the apparent economic clout that Millennials (those born between 1980 and 1999) have, and will continue to have, well into the future. Kristin has done a very good job of studying this group, along with other segments of our population. She not only presents this research in a clear and concise manner to audiences but also works with companies in doing Millennial training and assessments – a task that is sure to become a necessity as time passes.

[Millennial webinar testimonial] "I’m a Senior Loan officer with 35 years of mortgage experience and this was unequivocally the best hour I’ve spent working on my business in a very long time! Your insights were much more than a little eye opening and I gleaned so much valuable information. I have no doubt that the content having been presented with your first hand perspective made it all that much more substantive. Thank you again, for an extraordinarily well done presentation.
